Known simply as The Legend on account of his making a comeback to cricket twenty years after retiring. Is also becoming known as a latter day Bob Hoskin thanks to his habit of combing his hair in the dressing room as part of his warming up routine.
John French
Name: John Simon French Cricket Attributes : Wicketkeeper Nick Name: Frenchie, Jim (Courier). Biography: A very old man now Frenchie still is the best keeper in the club but is overlooked for older brother of the 1's skipper. Still holds club record score of 205 not out.
Steve Glasse
Essential declaration bowler. Claims to play most of his shots through the 'V', but generally neglects to mention that most of his runs are hoiked from three foot outside the off stump to wide mid-on.
Hon Treasurer
Mike Graham
Known throughout the Club as Grizzly, as all his hair has migrated South from his head, and occupies all the space from his eyebrows downwards. Has been known to get the odd run or two, mostly two. Now in his twilight years, his remaining ambition is to beat his highest score (152*), but will probably be disappointed.
Gus Horne
An eminient thinker on the game, Gus' appeals can be heard all the way to his home town in St Vincent Very animated speaker on a number of subjects but alas, apart from the odd suggestive comment to bar staff in The Bell, it is not known what these subjects are. His main functions, however, are to clear the dressing rooms after tea and to supply the teams with space cake after he match.
