Basil Makes National Papers:
In his first match of the Under 15 Bunbury Festival,
Basil representing London-East starred with the ball taking 4-22 as London-East beat the South-West by 11 Runs.
Well Done Basil, keep up the good work.
Congratulations to Dominic Hurst and Basil Akram who have both been selected to represent the London and East Cricket Region (formerly known as the South Region).
Basil will be representing London and East Region at the Under 15 Bunbury Festival at Sedburgh School and Netherfield Cricket Club, Kendal, Cumbria from Sunday 20th to Friday 25th July 2008.

The 1st XI win thriller in last over.
Moshin & Irfan rediscovery form, with a ton & five wickets respectively.

John French turns back time and reminds the club of his batting prowess with a ton plus innings.

An edge of seat win for the OAP's & Juniors.

On a benign pitch, the batting failed to live up to potential. Only a 74-run ninth wicket stand between Shahid Mirza (36) and Michael Bullman (39) gave respectability to the total. However the bowling struggled throughout and Gidea Park and Romford romped home by seven wickets.

The Odd Squad posted a good total, but Old Sectonians batted very soundly to post a four-wicket win.
